CLE de las Galias: Estado de la cuestión y avances para la edición de CIL XVIII/3

Abstract

Members of an inter-university research team, led by me, specializing in CLE, have concluded our work on the CLE of Hispania, whose edition, translation and philological comment will be published shortly in the volume XVIII/2 of CIL. The results are available on the website http://cle.us.es/clehispaniae. This website is designed as a first step of a forthcoming general Database Project about Latin Epigraphic Poetry. The website http://cle.us.es/clehispaniae has been created as a graphic and textual database, which will give access to the results to the scientific community in Spanish, English and Latin. The user will be able to make queries to the database in any of the three languages and will obtain the result in the language in which the query was formulated. This new website offers new editions and provides philological analysis from a Web 2.0 perspective, interactive and adaptable to the different needs of the researchers.

Taking this previous experience as a starting point, our team works on the edition and commentary of the CLE from Galliae, funded by the Government of Spain and with the collaboration of CIL. This aim of this contribution is to introduce the website http://cle.us.es/clehispaniae, but mainly to explain the State of the Art on the CLE from Galliae, as well as highlighting new readings, new interpretations, etc. (through a few examples), coming from our advances for the future publication of a new issue of CIL  (XVIII/3).

Miembros de un equipo de investigación interuniversitario, especializado en CLE, hemos concluido nuestro trabajo sobre los CLE de Hispania, cuya edición, traducción y comentario filológico será publicado este mismo año en el volumen XVIII/2 del CIL. Los resultados provisionales están disponibles en http://cle.us.es/clehispaniae. Este sitio web está diseñado como un primer paso de un futuro proyecto de una base de datos sobre Poesía Epigráfica Latina. La web está concebida como una base de datos gráfica y textual, cuyos resultados se ofrecen en español, inglés y latín. El investigador podrá solicitar su información en cualquiera de las tres lenguas y obtendrá el resultado en la lengua que haya elegido. El sitio web ofrece ediciones nuevas de primera mano y un análisis filológico de los textos, desde una perspectiva de web 2.0, interactiva y adaptable a las distintas necesidades de los investigadores. Con esta experiencia como punto de partida, trabajamos ahora en la edición y comentario de los CLE de las Galias.

El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar el mencionado sitio web, pero sobre todo explicar el estado de la cuestión sobre los CLE de las Galias, anticipando algunas nuevas lecturas, nuevas interpretaciones, etc. (a través de algunos ejemplos), procedentes de nuestros avances para la futura publicación de un nuevo fascículo del CIL (XVIII/3).
